Patriots Won Super Bowl When Bills Beat Them Before

New England sports fans have plenty to worry about when it comes to the Boston Red Sox, who sit only one game over the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL Wild Card standings with just three games left to play.

But Patriots fans can take a breather after the Buffalo Bills shocking come-from-behind victory (final score, Bills 34-31) at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Yes, the media is reminding everyone that the Patriots' 15 game win streak against the Bills is over. It's a little odd to see Buffalo leading the division at 3-0. But September football is always a little sloppy and it seems the Belicheck-Brady era Pats almost always give up a game early in the season.

Keep in mind that the last time the Bills beat the Patriots was 2003. They crushed New England 31-0 at home.

Yet by the end of the 2003 season, the Bills were sitting in front of their TVs with a lowly 6-10 record. And the Patriots had a league-best 14–2 tally before advancing to and winning Super Bowl XXXVIII.
