Occupy Maine Planning March In Response to Chemical Bomb

The Occupy Maine movement is planning a major march in Portland on Thursday during the evening rush hour to show they will not be deterred by the recent chemical bomb attack on their camp in downtown's Lincoln Square.

A handmade bomb was tossed at the camp's tents and tarps early Sunday morning from a passing car. No one was seriously injured and the police are still looking for suspects.

Here are the full details of the "We Shall Not Be Moved" rally from the group's Facebook page:

In response to the recent chemical bomb attack on the Occupy Maine encampment in Lincoln Park, we will be holding a short rush hour march to Lincoln Park followed by a rally and sing along. If you support our fight for economic justice through accountability on Wall St and in Washington, please join us. We can not let one cowardly action undermine the many supportive voices we hear from daily. If you are a part of the 99%, we need you to stand in solidarity with us on thursday.

This event also marks the movement from Monument Square to Lincoln Park as the focal point of the Occupation. Our community is growing stronger by the day. Please bring your minds, hearts and voices. The people united shall never be defeated, or terrorized.
