Baldacci Nominates Patrick Paradis for Loring Development Authority
Maine Governor John E. Baldacci has nominated Augusta City Council member Patrick Paradis for appointment to the Loring Development Authority.
Paradis is a former member of the Maine Legislature. He has also served as Treasurer of Kennebec County and worked as an instructor at the University of Maine at Augusta.
The other nominees include George Ezzy of Augusta and David King of Limestone.
The Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development will consider the nominees. A Senate confirmation session is scheduled for Aug. 25.
