Susan Collins Will Vote for Elena Kagan

Elena Kagan is one step closer to taking a seat on the Supreme Court now that Maine Senator Susan Collins has decided to vote in favor of her confirmation. Collins joins Republicans Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Richard Lugar of Indiana in support, making it less likely that the GOP can derail Kagan's march to replace retired Justice John Paul Stevens.
