Bill Introduced to Protect Public Against Secret Video Surveillance

Senators Arlen Specter (D-PA), Russ Feingold (D-WI) and Ted Kaufman (D-DE) introduced legislation yesterday that aims to protect the public from secret video surveillance.
The bill updates the federal Wiretap Act to prohibit unwanted video tapping if an individual is in their homes or a place where one "has a reasonable expectation of privacy in the area."
