"Job Creators" Endorse Carly Fiorina's Senate Bid

"Job creators" are endorsing Republican candidate Carly Fiorina for the U.S. Senate, according to Fiorina's campaign.

Fiorina is currently on a two-day statewide "Job Creators" tour. Today she held a press conference at ARRC Technology in Bakersfield with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the California Manufacturers and Technology Association (CMTA) and the California Chamber of Commerce.

Yesterday, representatives from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the California Manufacturers and Technology Association (CMTA) and the California Chamber of Commerce were on hand at a rally at SnugTop's manufacturing facility near Long Beach to offer their endorsements.

"Today we are rejecting [Barbara] Boxer’s nearly three decades of failed leadership and antagonism toward California’s businesses,” U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President and National Political Director Bill Miller said. “Carly Fiorina, on the other hand, understands firsthand the challenges companies face every day and will fight for the policies in Washington we need so our companies can compete in the global marketplace and so our economy can recover, grow and flourish."

Fiorina served as chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005 and has held management positions at AT&T and Lucent.
