Maine's TABOR II Opponents Delighted over Victory

Citizens Unified for Maine's Future, the coalition of municipal, business and citizen advocates who were opposed to TABOR, the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights, were celebrating their victory last night.
Campaign Manager Toby McGrath said, "It's a great day for Maine people. This vote reaffirms that Maine people value education, families and communities. It's clear that Mainers will keep rejecting initiatives forced on the state by out of state interests especially when they waste Maine taxpayer money in the process."
TABOR has now been rejected three times in Maine. The bill was only supported by 40% of voters on Tuesday.
