Two Separate Stabbings in the Kennedy Park Area

Portland, Maine -- Sunday morning in Portland’s Kennedy Park area there were two separate stabbings reported by police. Police were called to Kennedy Park just after midnight Sunday morning where upon arrival they found Dan Vorn, 18, with abdominal injuries, and soon after Mek Channg about 50 yards away who had serious chest wounds.
Both men were transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland to undergo surgery. Only Channg was listed in critical condition.
Police say the stabbings are most likely connected, though they have no suspects.
