Majority of Americans Fine with Public Christmas Displays

83 percent of Americans believe that government property can include displays of Christmas, according to new poll results from Pew.

However, the public is split on whether nativity scenes and Christmas trees can be displayed exclusively. 44 percent of Americans are fine with exclusively Christmas displays on public property while 27 percent say that Christmas symbols should only be allowed if symbols from other celebrations such as Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are included.

Even amongst seculars, 63 percent are comfortable with Christmas displays in public.
