Maine Red Claws fans can really get lost in their love for the team this Halloween.

Pumpkin Valley Farm has created a labyrinth based on the Maine Red Claws court and logo within their six-acre cornfield.

“In sports, you get used to seeing your players and logo on things like trading cards, posters, bumper stickers, and it’s always a cool thing to see,” Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings said. “This is a whole new level of cool though – who would’ve ever thought you would see kids running through an image of Crusher covering a six acre stretch?”

This is the tenth year the farm has created a corn maze. Previous designs have included other Maine icons like the moose and Slugger, the mascot of the Portland Sea Dogs.

The Red Claws will hold a special event at the maze this Saturday, September 24, from 11 AM – 3 PM. Pumpkin Valley Farm is located at 100 Union Falls Road in Dayton, about 40 minutes south of Portland. The corn maze will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM - 6 PM through the end of October. Admission is $8.00 per person.
