Well, here we go again. For any first-time home buyer who is looking to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit, the rush is on.
With the tax credit set to expire at the end of April, first-time home buyers are trying to find their dream home and take advantage of some free government money before it’s too late.
We are now almost at the end of February, it takes about 30 days to close and first-timers must have a signed fully executed Agreement of Sale before April 30, 2010 and in those cases where a contract is signed by April 30, 2010, the purchase must be completed no later than June 30, 2010.
