Summer is here again and bicycles are out in force, as are more motor vehicles. Bicycling continues to increase in popularity for health, recreation, transportation, conservation and environmental reasons. Automobile traffic increases at this time of year as more people are traveling and more tourists are coming to Maine. At the same time, the roads are getting worse. Both motorists and bicyclists must be more aware and careful as we “Share the Road.”
