WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Mike Michaud announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded funding to the Millinocket Regional Hospital in the form of a $2.5 million rural development loan. The funding will be used to replace outdated systems and make the hospital more energy efficient.
“Millinocket Regional Hospital provides essential health care services to the area,” said Michaud. “This funding will help improve the facility and make it more energy efficient. This will save costs in the long term and help create local jobs in the process.”
