Sea Dogs Suffer Largest Loss in Team History

Portland, Maine – The Reading Phillies (66-56) scored nine runs off losing pitcher LHP Kason Gabbard (0-4) in 3+ innings and defeated the Portland Sea Dogs (59-62) 18-1 on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field. Reading clinched the season series (4-2) as the two teams play the rubber match-up of their 3-game series tomorrow night.
LHP Yohan Flande (3-3) notched his 5th consecutive quality start for the Phillies to earn his 3rd win of the season. Flande pitched six innings, yielding three hits on one run with two walks and four strikeouts. Gabbard suffered his 4th loss in five appearances, surrendering nine runs (all earned) on eight....
