The Maine Red Claws have introduced the team's first head coach, Austin Ainge.
Ainge had been a scout for the Boston Celtics. He is the son of Celtics President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge. The Celtics, along with the Charlotte Bobcats, are the parent clubs of Maine's new D-Leage franchise.
“I have had the unique opportunity to be on many sides of this business,” Ainge said. “A main focus for me, as I have drawn from each situation, is talent evaluation.
