I saw the Terminator the other night and it served as a catalyst for some great ideas and concepts. The movie, if you haven't see it, dealt with man vs the machine. An ideology that still very much exists today.
The machine can represent the future and how technology can be overwhelming if you let it be, and man represents those people that are either willing to accept those technological advances or not. Some people prefer food warmed in a conventional oven, while others rather have their food zapped so they can eat it faster.
