Portland Sea Dogs to Face Flying Squirrels Again in Richmond

The Portland Sea Dogs will try again to beat the Flying Squirrels in Richmond tonight. The Squirrels snapped Portland’s three‐game winning streak last night with a 3-2 victory.

The Dogs have heated up in August, batting .301 as a team with ten homers. Eastern League Player of the Week, Portland Sea Dogs' first baseman Anthony Rizzo, has been on an offensive tear this month,batting .367 with five homers and 20 RBI.

The middle game of this three-game series starts tonight at 6:05pm. RHP Kyle Weiland (5-7, 4.40) will get the start for Portland, while Richmond will counter with RHP David Mixon (10-6, 3.63). Weiland hasn't started since a loss on August 4.
