If you've got the hoop skills and a dream, consider trying out for the Maine Red Claws, Portland's D-League basketball squad.
The team announced it will hold open tryouts on September 11-12 at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
The two-day tryout format will include team drills, individual skills work and scrimmages, according to the team. Red Claws Head Coach Austin Ainge and his staff will be there and as many as three players could receive an invitation to Portland for the Red Claws training camp in November.
