Dixie in the Deep North

Mainers will get a chance to enjoy Dixie music, that sound of the South, during a free show in Lewiston at Fountain Park off Mill Street on Thursday, July 29.
Beginning at 12 noon, Downeast Brass will take the stage to play a variety of tunes. The group consists of five musicians from Southern and Central Maine who have a taste for everything from classical to Dixieland.
The concert is sponsored by Bill Robitzek and Barbara Raimondi. The L/A Arts' Music in the Parks series is supported by The Cities of Lewiston and Auburn as well as The L&A Fund and Liberty Mutual.
