Arts Exhibition at Bates

Bates College is hosting a free exhibition featuring the final projects of its fourteen studio art majors. Three native Mainers, Sarah Codraro of Hancock, Elizabeth Mitchell of Auburn and Tyler Schoen of Wilton are on the bill.
"Books are tangible and tactile; books can be picked up, moved through, understood as parts, moments or as a whole," says Elizabeth Mitchell, whose art is featured with this story. "They are places, units, enclosures and homes for information, stories, pictures and secrets."
A reception will be held at the Bates College Museum of Art, 75 Russell St. in Lewiston this Friday at 6pm. The exhibition runs....
